Lyndsay Fait - Member at Large

Dr. Lyndsay Fait is the founding Program Director and Assistant Professor for the Occupational Therapy Assistant-Bachelors (OTA-B) Program at Utah Valley University. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor for Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions' Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. Before her current position at UVU, Lyndsay held various roles within Salt Lake Community College’s OTA program over 11 years, including academic fieldwork coordinator, associate professor, and program director.

Lyndsay began her professional journey as an occupational therapy assistant (COTA) in 2008, working in various settings such as acute care, transitional rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and school-based practice. She completed her master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2016 while continuing her work in pediatric-based clinical practice and teaching in the OTA program at Salt Lake Community College. Lyndsay completed her Post Professional Doctorate in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2023. Her clinical expertise lies in pediatric practice, both in school-based and outpatient settings. Lyndsay embodies the ideals of life-long learning and has a passion for community-engaged learning practices for both students and OT practitioners. She is excited to serve as the Member-at-Large for UOTA.
