The Utah Occupational Therapy Association is a volunteer run organization that strives to move the profession of occupational therapy forward in the state of Utah.

Mission:

To promote the profession of occupational therapy, serve the community through increasing the visibility of occupational therapy services, facilitate continuing education for the membership and promote safe, ethical and professional occupational therapy practice throughout the state.

Vision:

We envision that the Utah Occupational Therapy Association (UOTA) is a visible, dynamic, responsive, collaborative, outcome-driven organization ensuring the long-term viability of occupational therapy to meet the occupational needs of Utah society.

Values:

1. Provide excellent communication to members and the public via multiple venues & media.
2. Promote best practice occupational therapy throughout Utah.
3. Create visibility, advocacy, and participation for the occupational therapy profession’s unique value in the workplace, community and government.
4. Engage in ethical and responsive governance to promote advancement and sustainability of the association.
