UOTA Capitol Hill Day

Team up with UOTA’s lobbyist and government affairs committee.

Learn about Utah’s most pressing advocacy issues.

Meet your personal Utah Representative and Senator.

Share the impact of occupational therapy in your community.

Advocate for/against issues impacting practitioners and clients.

Ensure that occupational therapists/assistants sit at the table.

Put your UOTA membership dues to work!

 

Schedule:

7:30am Convene in Capitol Bldg lobby, group w/ rainbow flag

8:00am Break-out to meet w/ legislators

12:30pm Re-convene, debrief, answer questions

1-3pm Coffee/lunch at Nostalgia Cafe (248 E 100 S, SLC)

Parking at White Chapel, on the north side of the capitol, and along roads encircling the capitol.

On-site child care provided by OT volunteers.

Refunds will not be issued after three weeks or for “no-shows.”
