Capitol Hill Day

Come to the Utah State Capitol Building!

Team up with UOTA’s lobbyist and government affairs committee
Meet your Representative and Senator
Share the impact of occupational therapy in your community
Advocate for/against issues impacting practitioners and clients
Ensure that occupational therapists/assistants sit at the table
Put your UOTA membership dues to work!

 

Program:
12 noon Lunch at Boltcutter (Gallivan Center)
1:30pm Convene in Capitol Bldg lobby, ID your legislator
2-4pm Break-out to meet legislators on the floor
4pm Re-convene, debrief, next steps, go home
