Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration (CASI)

In January, the Utah Occupational Therapy Association hosted Dr. Kelly Auld-Wright, OTR/L, from The Collaborative for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration ® (CLASI) in Provo. Dr. Auld-Wright sparked significant interest in CLASI’s efforts to continue Dr. Jean Ayre’s work through research and training. The UOTA is pleased to partner with CLASI to offer advanced training towards a Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration (CASI).

Throughout 2024, the UOTA will offer the first two virtual modules, M1 (Ayres Sensory Integration ® Theory) and M2 (Comprehensive Assessment in Ayres Sensory Integration ®) that will lead you toward the CASI. These two modules are self-paced and virtual with each taking about 30 hours to complete. For more information about CLASI and CASI, please visit https://www.cl-asi.org/

UOTA’s Continuing Education Committee will explore hosting M3 (Comprehensive Assessment in Ayres Sensory Integration ® Hands-on Practice) in Salt Lake City in late 2025 or early 2026. Hosting M3 will depend on member’s participation with M1 and M2. If you are interested in M3, make sure to contact Travis Chamberlain (email below).

M1 and M2 can be purchased at a reduced cost for UOTA members ($200 each).  Please make sure you are logged in so that your membership can be verified and you can purchase the modules.  You can join UOTA here. Please note, that it will take a minimum of 2 weeks and up to 6 weeks before you can access the courses as the UOTA has to pass on payment to CLASI and they have to enroll you into their online platform.  After making payment, you must email Travis Chamberlain to initiate the sign-up process with CLASI. If you do not contact him, he cannot pass on your contact information to CLASI.

Please contact Travis Chamberlain, OTD, OTR/L, at [email protected] with any questions.
