Kristen Courtney - OTA Representative
I am a COTA/L practicing since 2017 and have spent most of my time in mental health or transitional care units. I am also the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Professor for Salt Lake Community College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Anyone who knows me personally would describe me as a “high energy go getter,” and I’d have to agree. I love being a part of the occupational therapy profession and love to engage with the community. I am excited to serve as the OTA Representative for UOTA to be more involved state legislature, OTA job facilitation, and engaging all occupational therapy students with UOTA within our Student Task Force. I live in Sandy on my self titled “Harried Homestead” with my partner, my two young kids, two dogs, and six ducks. When you don’t find me working for SLCC or UOTA, you can find me in my garden or in the mountains.
