Call for Nominations

We are fortunate to have a state association which is growing and becoming stronger. This is truly an association that is run by the members for the members. In June, we will be electing officials to continue helping the association be vibrant and helpful to its constituency. These are elected positions by the membership to work on behalf of the membership. We ask you to consider running or nominating a colleague, OT or OTA, for each position. To be eligible for office, candidates must be members in good standing with the Utah OT Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Nominations must be submitted by May 30, 2025. Term of office begins July 1, 2025. Please use the forms below (one for each position) to nominate a member. Please note that all fields are required for each position.

The following positions are up for re-election on the 2025 ballot:

Secretary (2-year term):
  1. Completes and maintains electronic and other records of the Association.
  2. Serves on the Executive Board with vote.
  3. Oversees the bylaws, policies, & procedures committee.
  4. Maintains social media as the administrator.
  5. Disseminates accreditation requests.

    OTA Representative (2-year term):
    1. Communicates and represents OTA needs.
    2. Serves on the Executive Board with vote.
    3. Oversees the student representatives and student task force.
    4. Maintains the history of the Association.
